I already wrote some info on Rover on this page.
Here you see some pictures of the very first Rover (and also the first safety bicycle) that was really sold in large numbers.
It is the model 1885. I took the pictures from Robert Sterba's excellent site (link) where they are a bit hidden in a series of the museum of Harlow, which doesn't exist any more.
Don't mind the colours, brake system and pedals are bad replicas, chainguard and mudguards are missing, but on the whole: this is a very important bicycle; a milestone.
